What is a Wagg Motion?

Wagg motions are motions done for the production of police or Crown documents. The name “Wagg” comes from the case of D.P. v. Wagg (“Wagg”), which details  the process to be followed when seeking these types of documents. In order to get 911 calls and all dispatch recordings are produced, a specific request must include a clause for production of all audio files.  This should be a standard inclusion for any WAGG motion.
