What is a casebook?

A casebook in Ontario family law is a compiled, tabbed, and indexed volume of relevant legal authorities i.e. court cases, statutes, and jurisprudence. You serve the opposing party and file with the the court. It serves as a concise reference document to support legal arguments. Also known as Book of Authorities.
