Some lawyers will outright lie to you to take advantage of your lack of knowledge.

They may lead you to believe that you have to provide disclosure you are not required to provide. 

They may deliberately mislead you about the court rules.

Always check the law or check with a lawyer on limited retained to ensure you are aware of what is required of you.

Never think – well the lawyer is asking so I must be obligated to provide that!!!1
