When should you update your financial statements?

You must update your financial information so it is current if you are attending a conference, motion or trial.

What are deadlines?

Rule 13(12.2) details when to update and Rule 13(12.2) governs when to serve and file it.

• 60 days before a case conference or settlement conference
• 30 days before a motion
• 40 days before a trial

What happens if nothing has changed?

You can simply serve and file a Form14A affidavit stating that the information in your last financial is still true or to provide details of minor changes.
